Critter Crafter's goal
"We need more teeth." Gray Mitchell, Jurassic World.
What a pleasure it was to see "Rexy" and the raptors again in the Jurassic Park reboot after 10 years of absence! So much nostalgia! But between you and me, do we really need more teeth? Hollywood is feeding us an endless stream of ever more terrifying monsters. Even the dinosaurs from the original films have gone through their own transformations! Gigantic Mosasaurus, Indominus rex, Indoraptor, Scorpius rex—teeth served in every way imaginable! These films are very entertaining, but do they provide a realistic image of extinct animals? No, because it seems filmmakers believe prehistoric animals will never be "cool" enough for the audience.
I think they're wrong. Here, we take the complete opposite approach. I sculpt my creatures after long hours of reading scientific publications, aiming to show the most realistic animals possible. So, if you want to see a tadpole-tailed spinosaurus or a feathered velociraptor, you're in the right place!
